The notion that Trump single-handedly ushered in an era of South Asian tranquility is a geopolitical fairytale. Peace is a complex tapestry woven from myriad threads, not a gift from a singular strongman. Attributing such a nuanced outcome to one leader is a disservice to regional stakeholders and a dangerous simplification of international relations. Why do we infantilise geopolitical agency?
