Mediterranean Diet: More Than Just Food

Old dogs, new tricks. A study proves diet education works for older adults.

Mediterranean Diet: More Than Just Food
FO Take · Score 85

The Mediterranean diet remains the gold standard, but adherence is a challenge. This study proves that targeted, multi-faceted interventions can shift behaviour in older adults. It is not about telling people what to eat, but how to integrate it into their lives. Learning never stops, especially when it concerns fundamental health. Why do we still rely on bland advice when science shows what truly works?

The strongest counter

Dietary advice is often ignored, and long-term adherence is notoriously difficult. A temporary intervention is unlikely to create lasting change in deeply ingrained habits.
