Feline hoarders are not rescuers

A woman rescues a cat, but can’t keep it because she already has too many. This isn’t compassion; it’s a failure of responsibility.

Feline hoarders are not rescuers
FO Take · Score 20

The cat distribution system is a myth peddled by those who cannot say no. True animal welfare demands finite limits and responsible rehoming, not endless accumulation. Your inability to cap your personal pet population creates more problems than it solves. When will self-professed "animal lovers" learn to prioritise welfare over their own emotional gratification?

The strongest counter

Rescuing an animal, even temporarily, is always a net positive. It removes a creature from harm and provides a chance for a better life. Every rescue starts somewhere.
