Linux isn't 'easier' for Mac users
The move to Linux from MacOS isn't "easier" it is a different paradigm altogether. Only some make the jump successfully.

The Linux desktop remains a niche for the technically adept who delight in tinkering. To suggest it is a natural, or even "easier", migration for a MacOS user misunderstands user behaviour. Most seek seamless experiences, not a new hobby. The terminal is not a selling point, it is a barrier. Linux is not for everyone, nor should it pretend to be. Will desktop Linux ever shed its hardcore reputation, or will it remain a power-user playground?
Linux offers unparalleled customisation and performance for those willing to learn. The command line grants immense power and efficiency. Many developers and power users find the switch liberating, not limiting.
