Talking to yourself is not a sign of loneliness, but a powerful tool for emotional regulation and decision rehearsal.

The notion that internal monologue is a sign of social failing is puritanical nonsense. Self-talk is the purest form of connection: a direct line to one's operational core. We should actively encourage this vocalised introspection, not pathologise it. Why do we fear the sound of our own unfiltered thoughts?
The strongest counter
While self-talk can be a useful cognitive tool, over-reliance might hinder external socialisation. True connection requires engaging with others, not just an echo chamber of one.
