Marriage, often touted as the pinnacle of connection, frequently devolves into a shared solitude. This research confirms that stress, amplified by loneliness, corrodes the marital bond. We chase partnership, yet many find only amplified isolation within it. Is marriage the ultimate test of individual resilience, or an outdated institution failing to deliver genuine connection?
